How to apply to the King’s Academy

Thank you for your interest in The King’s Academy. Our desire is to provide a God-honoring journey for your family through the entire application process. TKA has limited enrollment, therefore, we will not be able to serve every family that applies. Instead, we strive to find students and families that we are best able to serve with our current resources and instructional program.

Application Criteria

Demographics

  • Location: We are committed to serving families that are located in the Bonton/South Dallas region.
  • Income: At The King’s Academy, no student is turned away for lack of funds. We believe every family should have the choice and opportunity to provide their child(ren) with quality Kingdom education.
  • Families: TKA looks for families who are supportive of our mission, doctrinal statement, and standards of education. Our purpose is to serve families who desire not only a private education, but a distinctively Christian education for their children.

Commitment

  • Being at The King’s Academy requires a high level of commitment from both parents and students to achieve academic success and remain involved in the school community. Parents of TKA students commit to providing their children with a supportive academic environment and to volunteer for TKA events. Students commit to work hard, ask for help, and strive for academic excellence!

Readiness

  • Academic Ability: Our goal is to prepare each student that comes to The King’s Academy for God’s calling on their life. Therefore, we help every student by setting clear goals and high expectations.
